Following the breath of wild, free air in this first line, Zoe’s actions show that she is (currently) the opposite as she writes her typical note before ‘sneaking’ out. She’s a beast of a fockey player, but she’s not going to do much more than stick her head out of the bedroom window when it comes to sneaking out. OnLines: In this first scene, we meet a hesitant, careful Zoe. ![]() And yet, she keeps her feet firmly on the ground…for now. My hope was that this line energetically captures the way being wild and free is tempting to Zoe. Zoe is a girl who starts off fierce on the field but timid in real life. But I also wanted to harness a bit of Zoe’s inner tension.
